Cowboys having a good off season

When free agency began the Cowboys took the wait and see approach. They waited till all the big name free agents fell. Then they waited for the high money guys to find places. Finally, they went and got some solid pieces that can make immediate impacts. After a quiet start to the free agency signing period, the Cowboys have had one of the best offseasons in the league. When the season ended the Cowboys had a ton of questions marks. How to get more production out the wide receiver position? What should they do with Demarcus Lawrence? Who will play left guard? How do they fill the shoes of Tyrann Smith if he continues to have back problems? The Cowboys were able to address all those questions in free agency and now enter the draft with the ability to add quality young players to their already young team. 2018 Draft Series Ronnie Harrison and Rashaan Evans

    The Dallas Cowboys inactivity in free agency is scaring their fans. I can't blame fans for being concerned. This team underperformed last season and failed to meet expectations. From a fans perspective, it appears they're content with bringing back the same team. This is making it extremely difficult to put a finger on what they may do in this upcoming draft. I've been preaching defense all off-season and would love for them to take that approach. The one thing I can say is that the Cowboys can’t afford to be safe in free agency and safe in the draft. I’m going to close out my 2018 draft series with two players that could really help the Cowboys, but their both scheme players. That means, alone they won’t stand out as difference makers, but with a good unit and the right pieces around them, you can get two great players.
