The Cowboys will be figure out..... Stop it!

When you’re America’s team (say what you want about it) there will always be hate surrounding you. The hates comes from the love that so many people have for the Dallas Cowboys. Either that or they have beaten your favorite team in route to five super bowl championships. So either you love the Cowboys or you love to hate the Cowboys, which ever one it is, you have some love for the Cowboys.             I would like to take time to address the Stephen A Smith’s of the world. The haters that love to spout out that “the Cowboys will find a way to mess it up”, or “they’re a disaster waiting to happen.” Tony Romo breaking a bone in his back isn’t considered a disaster waiting to happen. He got hurt! Injuries are a part of the game. Had it not been for that Romo injury the Cowboys would have made the postseason three straight years and may have won a championship by now. The other type of hater I want to address is the sophomore slump, and the “figur

We need you Dez!!!!!

With all the great and exciting new things going on with the Dallas Cowboys, its easy to forget about the great things they’ve had. The Cowboys have a great young nucleus but they also have some really good veteran pieces as well. Sean Lee made his first all-pro team last season and is considered one of the best linebackers in football. Jason Witten will retire as one of the best tight ends to ever play this game. Then that leads me to Dez Bryant, the “X-factor”. Since coming into the league in 2010 you have amazed Cowboys fans with your brilliant showcase of physical attributes.  Your body control, leaping ability, and overall physicality is second to none. The last two years have been tough on you health wise but this team will need you in order to make a super bowl run.             All great offenses usually have a good to great quarterback, a good to great running back, and a good great wide receiver. Dak is going into his second season and time will tell how go

The Cowboys Five year window

Dallas Cowboy fans have the right to be confident going into the 2017-2018 regular season. It’s been a very long time since Cowboy fans have had anything to be excited about. Zeke Elliot was the leading rusher behind the best offensive line in football. Dak Prescott was amazing in his rookie season, which won him the rookie of the year award. This team has a young nucleus and the trajectory seems to be pointing upward for the Dallas Cowboys.  As a fan of the Cowboys I would love to see them have a run like the one the Patriots are on, but that’s rare. Realistically looking, how long will this Cowboys window stay open? I say the Cowboys have a five-year window in which they can compete for and win a Super bowl title. What they do in that five years will set them up going forward, but they have already bought themselves 5 years.             Youth is on their side! The Cowboys are young at all the right places. The offensive linemen are all under 27 years old. They have al

Shut up Ron Jaworski

It’s becoming harder and harder to judge quarterbacks in the NFL! Many people like to use the Super Bowl measuring stick. You know when your greatness is defined by how many super bowls wins the players has. The problem with using super bowls is that they’re a team accomplishments. Don’t get me wrong you must have at least one super bowl win in order to be considered great but it isn’t the end all be all. Then you have the people that want to judge by the numbers. Those guys are like ESPN and take the states from a small period of a players career and match them up with the others. Stats to me are manipulated in the favor of whoever wants to win the argument. When discussing great players you have to use the entire body of work and not these segmented periods, to determine which one is better. Also stats are an direct reflection of the era of which the player played. Quarterbacks didn’t have to throw the ball 30 times a game in the 50s, 60s, or 70s. They didn’
