Five keys to beating the LA Rams!

How bout Dem Cowboys!!!! It’s been an up and down start for the Dallas Cowboys in 2017. The season is still early and they have plenty of time to get everything in order. Monday nights win against the Arizona Cardinals was a really good win because the Cowboys didn’t play their “A” game but were still able to come out with the win. One of my keys for victory against the Cardinals was to get creative with the offensive play calling. While the offense wasn’t as explosive as we all know they can be, we got a glimpse into some of the things the Cowboys want to do on offense.             Did anyone else notice Dez Bryant line up in the slot at times? Did you also notice them motion Bryant across the formation? In that last game against the Cardinals it didn’t help Bryant have a big impact on the game but the concept is the same, move you playmakers around to give them an opportunity to make plays. Dez Bryant showed on that touchdown catch that he can still mak

To say the Cowboys had a tough game last week against the Broncos is an understatement. They got punched in the mouth and the Broncos walked away smiling. Listening to the chatter from both the media and the fan base, it feels like you all think the sky is falling. It isn’t! The Cowboys ran into a good defense in a hostile environment and their coaches weren’t able to counter what the Broncos did on defense. The Cowboys weren’t going 16-0 this season. It would have been hard for them to go 13-3 this season seeing that their schedule is tougher this year. Let’s all just calm down, the Cowboys will be fine. They’re still tied for 1 st in the division and they already have one division win over the Giants. The Sheagles look tough, but I don’t trust their offense. The Redskins have improved slightly on defense but they’re also struggling on offense. The Cowboys have the best offense in the division and that defense will get better as the season progres

R-E-L-A-X Cowboys fans!!!!!

Cowboys fan are you ready to plant your feet firmly on the ground now? The Cowboys have high expectations set for them in 2017, and rightfully so. They won 13 games last year. Last year the rookies looked great and the thought is that they would come in more experienced. They beat the one team that swept them last season. Everything has been going right for this Cowboys team and now they finally have some adversity to face.         When everything goes your way and things appear to be easy, you begin to read the press clippings. The fans start shouting "Super Bowl" loud enough for everyone to hear it. These players and this coaching staff needed a wake up call. The Cowboys had a lot of turnover, this offseason,  on the defensive side of the ball. You had to be insane or delusional to think that this Cowboys wouldn't struggle at times this season. The defense was already bad, throw in 4 rookies and a lackluster pass rush and you get a 42-17 ass whooping.

Five keys to beating the Broncos 2017

I would call the Cowboys week one performance against division rivalry New York Giants, a good start to the season. The one thing we know about the NFL is that things change week to week. As fans we have to try and not overact to anything we saw in week one. The Cowboys ability to wear a defense down is no mirage. This offensive line is good and with La’el Collins at right tackle, it may be better than last season’s offensive line. Listen Doug Free was a good tackle for the Cowboys his entire career. Collins has the ability to be a force on the right side, and maybe take over for Tyron on the Left if he continues to struggle with injuries and has to call it quits. I’m not pushing Smith out the door but more and more football players are choosing to walking away in decent physical and mental shape.             The Cowboys were able to tire out the New York Giants. Dak wasn’t great in week one but he made enough plays to win. I expect him to play bet

Five Keys To Beating the Giants 2017 wk1

Ezekiel Elliot has pulled a Tom Brady and he will be playing for the Cowboys this entire season. Giant’s players have been beating on their chest, wishing Zeke plays, and acting tough. Be careful what you wish for! George Forman wanted Ali to stand in front him and not dance around. Eight rounds later he wished he didn’t fight Ali. On Sunday night, the Giants will wish they never wished for Zeke to play, or played the Dallas Cowboys.             The Dallas Cowboys take on the hated division rival New York Giants. It seems like the NFL benefits greatly from putting these two teams against each other to start the season. Cowboy’s vs Giants is always an entertaining match-up and this year will be no different. Zeke’s suspension is on hold for the time being, Odell Beckham’s ankle is making it hard for him to practice and he might not play. Brandon Marshall’s shoulder has been bothering him since the second preseason game, but he should go. The Giants offensive line is terri
